Sorry but I can't help it. I always find the strangest things. I'm guessing it's the top to a bookmark (button top) or just a button. I've seen some bookmarks with round buttons at the top at some websites. Question is: what are the symbols? It was found in a baseball field next to a school that dates back to the early 1900's.

smaller ones look almost like zodiac signs.
