Old Farm House Hunt

I hunted an old farm house on Tuesday, I have permission to hunt it as much as I want. This farm house has been empty for a few years and it is on a map that dates back to 1892. The grass was way too long for detecting so I was stuck hunting the gravel areas and the few grassy areas that were worn down. I did find a 1953-D Washington and a 1929 wheat. The cross medal is date 1926.

I know what you mean.I have permission for a similar situation.....those old farm houses may be over 100 years old which means theres over 100 years worth of trash too :bangahead01:
I'm glad you were rewarded for your efforts. thumbsup01
Keep poundin' it and weeding out the trash and more will surface
Good luck & HH
Congrats on the finds

Glad you scored some silver! Farms are always littered with junk especially the iron kind :ticked: You may have to pull out the old riding mower and work harder for the rest lol tall grass kills depth  Nice hunt and video.

Good score on the silver. That site may be worth hitting several times during late fall and early spring. Or hopefully someone will mow the grass before then. ;)
