Old Park Gives Up a Couple More Keepers

Hey Diggers,
I hit my old stand-by park this morning before the rains came. I have been detecting this park since 2009 and I am STILL finding old coins! The park is so small (only 1 square block) and it befuddles me that I can still find coins. All the coins today were found mixed in with trash and the signals were not easy ones to find! Except for the silver Rosie! It was such an obvious silver signal (bouncy 12-44 to 12-46) at 7 inches. I don't know how I missed finding it before. The IHC was a nice 10-35 at about 8 inches and I was happy to find it. It's my 4th IHC of the year. Thanks for looking and HH, Dave.

I have a few stand by parks that have been pounded by others and myself but I will still pull old coins out of them. Congrats on your goodies'

I have a hard time finding good coins the first time I hunt a park.. Great that you can keep finding those hard to find coins.
Now all you need is some Northern Illinois Silver!!

Good job sniffing out those old coins that are hiding, Dave! It is impressive that you found 8 old coins at a pounded park like that.

:congrats:

I just made that exact comment to my wife. It is nice to know there is always something to find. I would say that is quite a haul for how often you've hunted that park. A lot of wheats. Great finds WD
