Looks like you did very well! Don't see sterling spoons often around here, I always seem to only find plated. Those suspender clips are pretty fancy too, very nice! Great score on the rings and buttons. Congrats on a great hunt! Can't wait to see what the bull is guarding. Keep us posted!

You're definitely into an old site there! What is the date on the spoon? I can make out June 19 but I can't see the year.

:congrats:

Thanks guys, Tony I think the spoon date is 1912. WD yes on the Tom:thumbsup01:, early February looking for deer sheds had a couple gobbling to my calls. going to combine Turkey, metal detc. and bottle dump digging. Not enough time even though I'm retired

Hello from the far NW part of Wisconsin! I have a hat like yours (trapped it myself) and love old dog tags from this area. That Racine is a sweet find. You had a great hunt, you have some skills. My oldest dog tag is 1925 from Polk County. The area was so rural it was a wonder anyone bothered with the tags, rick of getting caught
without was almost nil!

I love the tag as well. Had a 1925 Racine dog tag I gave to the grand daughter of her grand mothers dog, she had a picture of her and her dog as a young girl on the stoop 5 ft. from where I found the tag, then found a ring the same size as her grand mothers rings she inherited. She was freaking out. That's why I love this hobby. Ducktrapper, the hats supper warm and I got him with my muzzeloader and is nice out icefishing.

Found out the one on the right is a French coat of arms french republic button, Cool20170330_152839.jpg the left one is a Falcon huntress with a hawk on her arm with a dog by the horse but no time frame when they were made on the web. :bummer:
