One last hunt before the new year

Wisconsin has seen some very moderate weather the last 3 weeks so the ground, though stiff, is still diggable. Got out today and found some nice coins. Got another Indian a really sharp 16 "s" Mercury, a Rosie and a couple of wheats. I posted a picture of some previous hunts as well which included 6 Indians and several wheats, including an '09, '10, '19, and a '20. Also 1 Merc. I may get a hunt in January again as the Temps are staying around freezing for awhile and no snow. Wisconsin Digger

Nice finds! It is always exciting to find a 1916 merc because you never know if it will have a D or not.

Nice pics too. Happy New Year!

Those are some oldie examples of wheats!! Nice pic of the 1916 too! Congrats!! I'm hoping to get the same January digging as you. We get your weather a few days later

Very respectable hunt! I love that 1916 Mercury Dime! It is a beauty to behold even if it doesn't have a D mint mark. NICE!

:congrats:

Another great hunt Dave. As usual you killed it again in 2019. Good luck in 2020. BTY the ground is still thawed out so you can get an early start. Let’s try and hook up sometime this year. Jeff

FF,
I am pulling the plug in June and just ordered a new toy so I will definitely give you a holler. I am building a place (almost done) upnorth so we could wander North and have a free place to stay over night. There is a Boy Scout camp about 4 miles away so I will work on that permission or we can head up to Wausau (old fairgrounds). Have a great new Year
