Park Tot Lot Construction Site Finds

Too dry for conventional park hunting, so.......I have been hitting this site for a couple of days now and keep finding wheat cents but no silver. There has got to be some silver there and I will find it. The finds have been pretty interesting nonetheless, including a very nice 1909 wheat cent.

Very nice looking place to hunt Darren. :peace: Keep at it... silver will get under your coil sooner or later.
Nice bunch of Wheat cents, especially the '09. It really held up well and cleaned up nice.
I'm always amazed at how quickly the zinc cents break down. crying01 Hip hip hooray for the copper composition. :beerbuddy:

We decided to stop digging in the grass after our hunt Sunday morning. Clearly we need some rain in our area.

Tear ups are a perfect opportunity now, might have to start looking for some until the rains come. thumbsup01

Don't give up! What a great opportunity :clapping: I know what you mean about the dry conditions- good time to go shallow water hunting! That's what I did this weekend lol

Smart move staying off the grass. That silver is there, just waiting for you. Nice pile of wheats and the 1909 looks to be in great shape, especially compared to the zincolns.
