Philatelic & Numismatic Exhibit - Paying the Postage in the United States 1776-1921
This is a very interesting philatelic, five frame, exhibit that has been digitized and placed online. This exhibit was shown at the last international philatelic exhibition in 2006, called Washington 2006.
I thought I would post the link here since it is such an interesting topic as it relates to why postage rates were what they were at the times in connection with what coinage was circulating in this country at the time.
