Thanks All,for the great responce to my first year of tecting...My first tector i got off ebay,An Whites 6000 D2,looked like a tri-corder from startrek ,I dug lots of trash and some good finds,enough to know i wanted a better machine,got the DFX and went from trash to treasure,cashed in $1000.00 in gold items my first year,plus the clad,over an $1000.00 also,then they came out with the V3i,it really opened up a whole new world of tecting for me...I find my self hunting less and my finds better,can't wait to see what 2011 will bring,Dave

I got them off Ebay,I think they were $20.00 for the pair...
