Pleasant Week of Hunting

Hey guys, This past Saturday I met up with Lodge Scent Jeff and had a blast comparing signals on the EQX and Deus. We didn't find much but had a great time! :thumbsup02:

I got out everyday after that for a few hours and found everything but the kitchen sink. I never found a half penny like that holed one. Is it a georgeII? Both coppers were found in the pictured field where I hadn't found one after months of hunting. Goes to show ya. That Webster Elastic thing is from an 1890 new type of wiffletree.
Thanks!!

Glad to see your getting out. Don't know about that george???? I see ya got yourself a heal plate also...:thumbsup02: How about calling in sick and helping out at the golf course????

Cool finds there Drew. Looks like a KG II. I like the wiffletree name plate.

Looks like you are warming up to the EQX!

Noce spread of relics, It is a king george the second from what I see but is unique. Looks like its been rounded off or worked but could just be the image, what did it ring up? Im wondering if its possibly counterfiet? Like i said it could be the image but it looks small. Nice hunt

Thanks, guys!! That coin is only 22mm and rang up VERY LOW!! Just above nickel range. Here is a pic with other KG2s.

I would say that is it Drew. I dug a counterfeit KG II farthing a few years back. I'll see what VDI it comes in at.

Its definitely a farthing Drew and they do ring out considerably lower than half pennies

Man, you guys out east are killing it this spring.
Congrats on all the cool finds.
It sucks that we had to cancel our trip this year, but we hope to see meet up with you guys later in the year.
Great finds!!

Work, you're killing it out there! Love those old relics like the heel plate and buckle frames. Good luck figuring out that coin!

Way to go Drew! Man, if I hunted every day I think my wife would disown me! Congrats on the nice variety of finds though, including the coppers. I think I learn something once a week when reading through folks posts. Now I'm more familiar with KG2 farthings if I every come across one!
