Hello, I used to go by JoePhoto on another forum. I've been detecting for about 4 years. I started with an MXT, great machine but I wanted to go deeper. Then I traded that for a TDI, lot's of depth but after a year of digging thousands of very deep holes and building up my muscles, I never mananged to sort the trash from treasure.
Then I traded in my TDI on a V3 about a year and half ago. I had some good early success but always struggled to overcome EMI and noise. As soon as the V3i conversion became available I had it done and saw a big improvement right away. I love this machine, although more some days then others!
I have been reading posts from Cyber and other members of this forum on other forums and always found them very informative. You guys have really helped me learn a lot about how to use my detector, thanks!
