Been a long time since I've posted, but I've had a couple of nice finds lately -- an 1803 half reale, and an 1830 bust half, both pretty sweet looking, so I figured I'd post, for my old friends here. HH everyone.

hey nice to hear from you again Randy , :shocked03: wow that Capped bust half is a spectacular coin :shocked05::loveit::smitten:find that one very recently ??

Found the half today, and the 1/2 reale about a week ago. Both at the same site. A field with alot of dead where you can go 5 hours or more with just a single high tone that turns out to be a colonial buckle, not a coin. Tough detecting at its best, but it worked out, at least in this case.

Sweet Finds Randy :loveit: I bet you were not expecting that kind of half in the hole  Gorgeous coin.

Super awesome finds Randy!! Thanks for taking the time to post so I have something to keep staring at all winter with envy! Keep hitting those fields until the depp freeze.

Randy, great recoveries. :congrats:on that fantastic looking 1/2 dollar. Most of us would walk for a whole day if that was the only high tone.....or in some cases a very high VDI.

That is one sweet looking coin. Must of lost it on his way home from the bank. That has to get your heart pumping when you see it in the hole. Wisconsin Digger
