Found old map from 1883 showing the place where the tolls were collected when entering the town. The attached shos that map. I found the 1868 Indian about 4 inches down. It is is great shape. I have it in olive oil and will get it out tomorrow. Everything is readable like it was lost right after minting. I believe it could be a 40-50 coin. Will post picture after its bath in olive oil.new house.jpg Toll house is at bottom on map. I found the Indian behind the toll house location on the map where the road bends to the right next to the ohio river. I like the quality finds better than quantity. Research helps me find the best results. This toll was there in 1870. Knock on doors and get permission. Many say no but many say yes to hunt.
