Road Trip Part 3

Bell-Two

Doug, Diane and I went back once again to the old park that has produced some excellent finds recently. The day was hot and long with just a few finds of note. Doug once again upheld our honor by making the good finds today. It started out with a Shield nickel that appears to be 1883 date, then a bit later he got a 1903 Indian Head, Diane and I were finding clad and some interesting “junk”! Doug then finished up with a wheatie. Not many keepers for three of us in a 5 hour hunt, but we did have fun.

Looks like everyone had fun, and we learned that the date on Shield Nickels is on the shield side. :)

Very nice Indian Head too! Fun video, thanks for sharing!

Nice place to hunt if you are popping Shield Nickels :clapping: Can't really make out the date from the picture but the last digit almost looks like a 5. If you can make out the last digit it would help in dating it a bit. Great, but tiring hunt you 4 had. thumbsup01
