Seated Half Dollar

Hi everyone,

I pulled out a real beauty Sunday afternoon. I've been hunting a property owned by the church here in town. The site dates back to the
mid/late 1800's. The ground here gives up nice keepers from time to time, but this is the first Seated from this place.

Was hunting closer to the forest line yesterday and got my coil over a nice target at 4 inches. Cut the plug to
reveal an 1877 Seated half dollar. :happydance01:

Got so excited that I packed up my gear and headed over to jkress's house to show him my prize.

:perfect10: That is an incredible coin! What a beauty! Looks like it was dropped shortly after the bank first let it go. Congrats on an awesome find! Hope you find some more oldies there!

A big congratulations again Ron. :clapping: She is an absolute beauty. :smitten:
Last week you dug a Walking Liberty half... this week a Seated. You forgot about the Barber. lol
You've got yourself a great location with lots and lots of potential. You'll be pulling nice coins from
there for quite a while.
Well done sir. thumbsup01
