seated half + other silver

Today managed to pull a seated half <: <: and a couple of common silver coins. Despite the tarnish, the seated has a good bit of detail, and it was quite a thrill to pull out of the dirt, The sort of thrill you'll never forget, really. Thanks for looking and HH.

That's one of the nicest dug coins I've seen posted. Given how excited I get when I dig a plain old Merc it's probably for the best I never find a coin like yours - it would likely kill me right there in the field. Congrats! I can't even imagine! :clapping:

I'm not sure, but I've been leaning against it. I'll just have to find another that's not tarnished lol

Thanks for all the comments folks. I'm still sort of reliving it. Oddest thing was I really didn't know what it was at first -- I sorta could make out the seated figure on the front, but thought no way -- and figured it was some sort of token or medallion, then when I turned it over the eagle came in clear, and that's when I was in shock.
