Semi-Key Date Merc

At the last minute I managed to get out for a rare evening hunt last night. I headed to a local spot that had been under construction all summer. I got lucky with a nice Merc and was surprised to learn it's a semi-key date - 1926 S. Unfortunately it has a fresh scuff on the back - I would assume from getting bulldozed around in the dirt. Otherwise it's in nice shape.

Mercs are a pretty common find, especially the later dates. But to find an early one much less a rare date and mint in that condition is a rare treat, congrats!
