Short Sidewalk Project Hunt = Three Old Cents, Musketballs & Big Iron

Stopped at a street work project tonight on my way home and hit it for about 45 minutes. Not a lot of old dirt to be found except in front of this little church looking building, which is where I found two IH's and a Canadian LC. The coins are soaking and I can make out 1882 and 1893 I think on the IH's, the Canadian LC may not have a legible date, it's pretty toasted. Also found two mucketballs and probably the largest piece of iron I have ever found MDing.

great picture Darren and great looking are to pick old coins from , that Canadian large penny should be made of bronze and clean up nice (the thick crust usually comes off nice with wooden toothpick) . show it when its done cleaning.

|:cheering: Hey, not bad for 45 minutes ! I'd keep at it, that church looks real old . Also, I'd hit it hard before your window of opportunity closes and they cover up the goodies again.
Once again, Congrat's.

That iron is huge lol Polish that up and mount it on the front of an old Caddy thumbsup01 I hope the Indians and LC clean up for you. I love finding the Canadian LC. They go a lot longer than our series did .
