Had a little time to hunt after work so i went back to the bark that has been giving up silver and it did not let me down. I found a 1964 Roise and a sterling ring that the wife took. The two blue pennys where found about 200 feet apart from each other:huh::huh::huh:thinkingabout:

Thank for looking and HH

:clapping: :clapping: nice hit on the silver Dave, just wondering if the pennies were part of an old planted hunt.........

Silver and silver... <: <: :clapping:
The blue pennies are real thinkers :thinkingabout: When I read the title of your post, the first thing that came to mind were steel pennies... but not the right date. Some of the steel pennies I've come across (not in the ground) have a blue tint to them.
Great hunt. thumbsup01

Congrats on the silver ring,Those blue pennies sound like an experiment gone bad lol,it's all good :clapping:,keep them coming,Dave

Nice double silver...

Sometimes those painted coins were used to purchase candy machine items and allow the store owner to know that they were not a part of the actual sales....

I thought the seeded hunt idea might be a good thought too. Always some stories that could be told from our finds....

One sterling silver ring is a small price to pay for future freedom! lol
