Silver and clad in the same hole

I was out for a bit before work today and I had a nice quarter hit on the f2. So I cut the plug and stuck the digger underneath to help flip it over and then set the digger down to check out the hole and I saw a clad quarter in the hole, so I thought cool because I don't find as many as I would like. Then I looked at the digger and there was a silver quarter stuck on the end of it. A 1963. Number six for the year

I may have jumped the gun on posting this because as soon as I finished the posting, I went out to dig for ten minutes and the first thing I dug was a 1960 rosie! My first two silver day! And the fifth from that area. Now it will be 4 days before I can hunt that spot again.

Similar thing happened to me at an old school site. A clad dime and a silver dime stuck together. The silver dime was 1947 and the clad dime was 1974!

Congrats on the 2 silver day! I know the feeling of the "65-just got one the other day at the old school. Really disappointing, and I've yet to dig any silver there despite the fact that I'm finding lots of pennies from the silver coin era.

Nobody likes the date "1965". Super find and I know your biting at the bit to get back there. Perhaps a sick day is in order?????

CONGRATS

Thanks everybody! I've finally found a spot that doesn't appear to have been hit in this campground that I am in.
