I had a good weekend detecting, though Saturday was the better of the two days. On Saturday morning I drove out to the Boston area and detected at one park during my entire time there. I left the park with 11 silver coins, a corroded large cent, several wheat cents, and a 1901 Boston Evacuation Day Medal. The medal is huge! Information on the Boston Evacuation Day can be read here.

Today was a slow day as far as silver, with one mercury dime making a show, but I did manage six Indian Head cents and fifteen old wheat cents.

The oldest of the Indian Head cents, dated 1860.

These bring my Indian Head cent count this year to 78.

One of my better finds today turned out to be this very neat silver cufflink.

Now if you could just bottle and sell what you know about using that E-Trac that the rest of us don't...

The medal is a nice rare find! 1 of only 100,000 given away!
I found a eagle cuff button yesterday too lol
Congrats on a great weekend

Nice group of Indians and some silver of course lol The medal is pretty cool and I don't understand how you could lose it in the first place  How many of them 1909 wheats do you find? lol One of them has to have an S on it sooner or later. :hairpulling:

Nice... the weekend hunts went very well. Especially Saturday. :clapping:
A very nice mix of fun digs. It still amazes me what you are able to pull
out of parks on a regular basis. |)
Congrats Angel.
