Got out early this morning with my son Carson and hunted an older school . My son found a nice big Fossil watch in the first few minutes . Then it was my turn to find a watch
. I thought I had a gold watch at first but it's only plated
. We moved from the big field to the oval soccer field and I got a sweet +77 at 3 inches . This time it was not a clad dime but a silver Irish Claddagh ring , ring #43 for the year . Then my son found two kids rings , his #3 & #4 for the year
. My next target after the silver ring was a iffy deep zink sounding target with a bit of a high tone . I got down 7 inches and saw a small item . I believe it's a garter clip . It has two PAT dates on it , 12/13/93 & 12/31/95 . The name at the bottom is VELVET GRIP . This is my first 1800's garter clip
. Also found a 1956D wheat and a 1954D nickel . Total clad for three hours was $13.41 .
