Silver Thimble and other relics

Got out for a few hours today. Went back to a cellar hole that has produced in the past. My first target was this gold gilt two piece button. Also got a suspender clip patent date 1811. I wasn't sure on the clover thing but my partner says it's a heel plate. My first one. I found this shell looking thing at 8 inches any ideas? I though it was a button at first but then realized it opens. My final target before leaving was this silver thimble. Was a jumpy signal and someone had brushed the leaves to see what it was but never dug it. I went over the spot and got a jumpy signal, the numbers were med to high on the vdi but i did see an iron signal pop in there as well. Probably why someone left it. Even though it was jumpy it was consistent, so i dug and was rewarded Thanks for looking HH

AWESOME THIMBLE! And gotta love a cool heel plate like that. I can't seem to find any with designs. Thats one shiny button, we gotta hook up again and go slay some Colonial coinage soon.
