SILVER

CODY

OK folks, sorry but I'm a little excited. Got permission to hunt a house that was built in the 30's. In the yard of the house I found a little clad and that was it. Rewind a little. When I first arrived I decided I was going to work the sidewalk strip on the side of the house first. Second or third swing I get a solid 83 on the F75. Quarter! Boy was I suprised when about 4 down, up pops this bracelet. No markings whatever on the inside of the band. I was just about to bust a gut to get home to test it to see if it was silver. It just had that feel, know what I mean? It tested positive, dark red, for sterling! Weighs as is 32.6 grams. And check out the art work on it. Pretty cool. I wonder if a Jeweler could strighten it? Oh, also found a 56-D Rosie and a 44 Wheat. I am pleased with todays hunt.

Great silver finds! That bracelet is amazing. By the fading of the turquoise I am guessing the bracelet is from the 1930's. Great hunt! :clapping:

Sweet hand made Navajo bracelet!!!!!! thumbsup01 Probably dates to the 40s or 50s :beerbuddy:

Cody, what a nice old huge bracelet. I am sure a silversmith or jeweler could straighten it out. What a great find, I'd take it over a quarter anyday.

SILVER! :shocked03: And what a piece of silver it is! :omg:
I like all the engraving in it! Very ornate
Sweet find!
Congrats on all the keepers!

:perfect10:! A perfect hunt! Nice braclet. You can tell it's silver just looking at it. And great Indian art work on it. Congrats on the braclet, and the Rosie!! |:cheering: :clapping:

now would you rather had found a quarter? lol. nice bracelet! no need to test that puppy..its silver no doubt! congrats!

AWESOME bracelet Cody!!! |) |) |)

Would be neat to find out more about it- as Randy says could be 1906 or earlier if not stamped, but then like Coop says it looks handmade, which usually doesn't get silver stamp? :thinkingabout: No matter, it is one of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry I've ever seen on this forum :clapping: Congrats again!

Took the bracelet by a Jewelers today. Didn't take no time for him to strighten it. I cleaned it a little when I got home. Jeweler didn't charge me a thing to strighten it.
