Too hot and humid to be out hunting this morning so I thought I would display these finds. This bling was all found in a single location over the last 3 months. I originally went there looking for old silver but only found a couple. From the dates of the clad I have found it appears to me all the silver was weeded out in the mid to late 70s. I am still finding shallow clad but it is thinning out. Now I am going a lot slower and and sifting through the trash. In many areas I am using the 4X6 shooter. It's a tedious process but seems to be fruitful.
My favorite is the silver Tiffiny ring. I located them on line at Tiffiny's Web Site and they can be purchased new for $200. The ring with the cross is Platinum. The ring with purple stone was once gold plated. There is also a stainless steel ring and a .925 silver chain. The two little rings were picked up from the same hole just last week.
It may take me a couple more seasons to complete the hunt. It's a nice easy place to hunt for those times when it is too hot and humid to be fighting the bugs in the woods.
