Small silver relic

Tried my best to fight the heat spent about an hour hugging the tree line shadows only good item was this small ornate silver item was a nice high tone at 6 inches, was some speculation on what it was I was leaning toward pen but it had some wood sticking out that appeared part of the item, one I cleaned it it became obvious when this pencil tipped popped out, so yeah it’s a silver pencil holder very ornate about 2 1/2 inches long it’s not marked so I am sure it’s only half unfortunately the other half was not located at this time.
