Looks just like here... >:\ I have a 7 ft' snow bank out my balcony :bop: Boredom is starting to take it's toll here....... :ticked:  :bangahead01:

Those pics look so nasty! And the snow doesn't look too good either rofl Good to see you Dan. :clapping: :peace: Looks like you guys got hammered pretty good. I would say May 18 will be the first dirt hunt of the season for me... :bangahead01:

That is just crazy. :frozen:

My snow piles aren't near as bad as yours... so I'll count my blessings.

Hang in there. thumbsup01

Wow, that's nasty!!! We're NOT as bad as that, thank goodness!! What we have is bad enough so I thought lol

Judging from the shoveled, snow-blowed, and plowed snow piles, you have way more there.

Judging from the snow on the roof of the house in the background, we have more snow here. (Minnesota)

I see someone has a ladder on the roof there; I have about 24 of snow on one of my shed roofs that is not from drifting or anything. Just thankful the roof is built extra sturdy.

Out on the level flat where it isn't drifting at all, I have about 30 inches of snow.

You look like a regular Minnesotan out there shoveling in a T-Shirt

Come on Dan, with a piece of plywood and us stepping on it, we can detect....really we can :happydance01: I can't wait until May :shocked01:

This definitely hasn't been a good winter for you guys out east, we don't have anywhere near that much, we only got about 1 1/2 feet on the ground but some of the drifts are pretty deep. I'd say there's probably an average of about 10 - 12 inches in the woods right now which I've hunted before but it's not great for finding coins, I might try it for relics this weekend cause it's supposed to get close to 30 degrees.

Yup, I know that fealing....lots of snow = sore back!
Looking out my back window at 5am yesterday.......60+ mph winds and 18+ inches of snow.

That's harsh!
I couldn't help but laugh on the second picture lol ... as I was shoveling one of those 'narrow foot paths' yesterday, I looked up in the house window and saw Dana standing there shaking her head 'no'. So, I widened it to the width of the sidewalk. lol

I thought I could get by with one... fail.

I got off pretty easy. Mama and the boys wanted to shovel :shocked04: <: :interesting: lol
The official measurement is 17.8

Howdy Folks!
Here in Colorado, the temperature should be rising tomorrow and Saturday. We have a couple of inches of snow on the ground, and I figure I'll likely do a bit of hunting over the next couple of days.

Surgery left me with a bad dose of bronchitis, and I am taking antibiotics, but still, hard not to get out when the temperature is to be up around 50. Snow shouldn't be too problematic. Looks like all you folks back east got it all!

Oh, and a word to Dimeman... you're in for like 4 inches tomorrow. Good luck amigo!

Blessings,
M-Taliesin

hey , you probably still have a pair of platform shoes that will keep you above the snow drifts George . lol nope for me i'll take a few trips to the beach .

I think most of the states got something out of that storm :barf: :barf:
Nasty drifts you got there Del!! We have one huge one that is 6' deep and about 40' long x 15' wide,,,,big 3'x4' snake laying clear across my backyard.
The state brought in the big snow blowers again to blow out some of the highways here in the country. They did the same back in '79. This is one we'll talk about for a few years for sure!!

Wow Dan, that looks like my driveway. lol That sure is a lot of snow! :frozen: I just don't know where I am going to place the additional snow we are supposed to get this weekend. :shocked01: I may not see a park until June. :crying02:
