Freak snowstorm canceled a planned all day hunt over the weekend >:#, but by today it had mostly melted :happydance01:, good riddance.
Got out to work one of the last few sections of a recent honeyhole, and scored a rosie as the first target happydance02 happydance02 I love it when that happens, as you feel the rest of the hunt is on the house.
Not too much to speak of until near the end of the 4 hour hunt I got a weird 01-46, 01-47, bouncing to a 05-45 on the E-TRac. Had no idea what it was -- my guess was a clad half dollar or an odd-shaped pipe fitting, and I could not believe when I opened the hole and saw the edges of not 1, but 2 big silvers <:, side by side. Only saw about 30% of them, and was even more shocked when I worked the first out and it was a walker :happydance01:; my second in a little over a week. Amazing. I would have loved to have my camera along for that shot.
Not much else today except 7 wheaties, and a pile of clad. Just a couple of very small sections left to grid of this place, that I'm not to optimistic about, then it is back to earth. HH everyone.
