Good day everybody,
I got out this morning to a over the border hunt. I thought I would try a spot that I skimmed over last year. Well It paid off I got hit after hit then It went dead for the next couple hrs. All the coppers were in one area about 40ft by 40ft . the lock was a cool find in the same area, don't know how old it is.
I still have one copper I can't get a date off yet (very crusty)
I think the first coin is 1804 ?

Was this in Canada? I agree that the draped bust is definitely 180_ something.

What a great bunch of coins and relics! If I ever found a Draped Bust Large Cent here in Illinois I would be on cloud nine for a month!

:congrats:

congrats on the coppers Nagolocop the lock has a brass dust key hole cover , these were often stamped with a trade mark , makers name or a type of logo or patent date . Yours looks like it might have something stamped into it.

That was an exceptional hunt Nagolocop. You might want to do that border crossing again sometime, if that is the kind of results you get.

I am curious... what state did you find these treasure items?
