it was EST.in 1950 and was used up untill 5 years ago.it is up for sale but no takers yet.the overseer is the one that gave me pernission to hunt it and he keeps it well mowed and looking nice.

Thanks for posting the photos, Terry. If the camp has been there since 1950 there should be some keepers there. Lots of area to hunt. The camp has probably been added on to a lot over the years. I would probably head to the area where the biggest old looking trees are.

Congrats on your research, it has paid off. Gotta be lots to find there yet! thumbsup01

it looke like a great place to spend a relaxing day detecting Terry , nice pictures . your bound to find some silver there .

Wow :shocked04: look at that place. :smitten: Does it get any better than permission to hunt and someone cuts the grass for you too lol Starting in 1950, there has got to be silver there. For 15 years kids were losing silver dimes and quarters there. Some of those should be Mercuries and SLQ's too :clapping: Have fun and enjoy the hunting there Terry.

You should be walking out of there with plenty of neat finds once you start detecting in earnest. :clapping: Have fun! thumbsup01

Looks like an awesome place to hunt JT. Nice job at finding and receiving permission to hunt the site.
Nice to see you back out there. Good luck on your return trip... looks like plenty of goodies waiting for you there.

Good to see you back in the saddle JT . Great pictures .A good short hunt too .I think you are going to be posting some great stuff very shortly . thumbsup01 thumbsup01

It looks like a hunter's paradise to me. Great looking place to take it slow and easy (to enjoy the beauty of it). I knew you couldn't keep a good person down. Very happy to see you are out and about. Keep us informed how future hunts are going. Thanks for sharing.
