Sunday group hunt woods/park

silver star

New member
Meet with Tim (Ill Digger), Rob (Tech125) and Ted on Sunday morning and we detected woods for couple hours. I found 1891 IH, 1918 Buff, 1924 and 1926 wheats, sterling silver parts of bracelet or something :dontknow: but I really like it  and some other relics. After woods we went and detected new place old park for rest of the day. Lots of clad but I managed to pull some keepers too. Ground was not easy to dig and was half frozen so we will be going back next year. I found 1913 Barber dime, 1963d Rosie, .925 silver ring on the top of ground, 4 more wheats and two Canada cents. Also got over $10 in clad. Thanks for looking and HH. Mike

That looks like one productive day! Way to get out there and pull in some nice finds before the ground is rock hard!

Silver, a Barber and IH's... <: :smitten:
Nicely done sir.

Great variety of old coins, Mike! :clapping:

I'm glad that you were able to have such a successful late season hunt! Very nice Indian Head, Barber Dime, Buffalo Nickel, etc.! I really like the silver things too, I think Dan is probably correct about them being the sides of a pocket knife. They are really interesting and look old.

Congrats on the great hunt! :clapping:
