Sunday Morning Park Hunt / Barber Dime & Indian

Digger Don

New member
I set out this morning with my nephew Jason. We intended to do some door knocking in a small town about 45 minutes south of us. Every house we hit, either had nobody home or it was abandoned. There was a small park in the middle of town, so we decided to give it a go. The park has obviously been hit hard. Decent signals were hard to come by. I did manage to dig a 1907 Barber Dime, an 1887 Indian and 1 wheat. All 3 were about 8" deep. I also dug the usual odds & ends.
Thanks for looking !!

Nice. Just went through a batch of barbers I bought at an auction awhile back. That coin was better than 90% of them. Nice looking Barber. WD

Nice finds again! That barber is in very good condition. An early drop no doubt. I recognize the green car in the middle. I'll have to check my records but I found one a couple years ago and learned it was only made for something like 4 or 5 years in the mid to late 1960s and fairly rare as I recall. (but don't quote me on that). HH, Dave.

That Barber Dime is in beautiful condition! I love it when there is full liberty and you can see all of the wheat grain and the reverse.

I really like that car too, it is unusual for sure.

Great finds, Don!

:congrats:
