The biggest shell casing I`ve ever seen

Hi all, sorry I haven`t been posting much lately, but I finally got out this past weekend just digging clad and found these three interesting pieces. This is the biggest shell casing I`ve ever seen along with another eagle button and the Budda badge I`m not sure about. Still pretty cool. Thanks for looking.

Good to see a post from you, Robbie. That is a huge shell casing! I bet it would make a loud boom!

Congrats on the finds! :clapping:

Nice finds Robbie! What's the stamp on the end of the shell casing? Should tell the caliber, maker, and maybe the year made.

"another eagle button" ??? That button would make my week!!! My life isn't that exciting  Shank and all! :thumbsup02:

In case you were wondering, your eagle button is called a "Great Seal". City Button Works, New York made buttons from 1877-1923 but yours most likely dates between 1910 and 1917. If there are any traces of black on it the time period would be 1910-1923.
