We've been hosting guests this week but I've still been able to get out for a series of short AM park hunts. Loving these parks :loveit: ....I may change my name to TennisShoeDrew

Found the following-
King Geo II 1749(??)
1940 Quarter
1937 Merc
Bunch of wheats 1910-1955
Silver earring

Not pictured- I would estimate 30 dimes and 25 quarters

Nice job! What's nice about old parks is that you just never know what you gonna find and you often find enough clad to pay for your gas or lunch. Seems that the parks you have been going to recently have not been targeted too hard.

Thank you guys, I guess it's a 1749. Looking better now.

yup one of the most common years for KGII , you've been really tearing up the parks so to speak  ,you ever going back into the woods ??

Nice Drew. Looks like a '49 to me. I'm still cleaning mine from Sat but I am thinking it has the globe/shield on it. ( I still haven't gotten the previous hunt on here as I still haven't gotten pics done). Parks do hide some good finds and obvi you are finding one less hit to come up with some silver.

Nice hit! There a lot of 150 year old parks around here but they have been hunted pretty hard over the years.
