Did you just about die when you dug that confederate button? How'd you find out it was a reproduction?

it has id on the reverse i belive it was del that told me the real ones were made in england i think these were made in conn you would not belive me but here goes me and my grandson was at a local park i just dug up a indian and set my detector by a tree happened to look where it sat looked like a fresh hole was dug turned out a squirrel had dug up a nut and uncovered the button it was laying on top of dirt pile and yes i did get a little exicited right up until i found out it was a repro still a great find tho dennis
