Those dang horseflies!

Today marked one of several times I've been chased out of the woods this summer by horse flies. Despite being drenched in DEET those stupid things still attack and bite me. Now I know why I have all those random bites on my back. I think they've been biting through my shirt. Time to invest in a bug mask and full body suit lol. Anyone have any tips for combating those horse flies?

when you spray deet on your skin it only last until you sweat it off (maybe 20 minutes if your lucky) get a bugskinz suit (shirt and pants combo) or like Roger suggested a rynoskin suit . then when you spray the clothing it will last much longer , they can still bite you where you missed yourself with the spray plus the suit will protect you from the ticks too. A hat is recommended as you can spray that as well.

Thanks for the help guys, the bugs were not bad at all today (probably cause of the cooler temps in the morning) but I will definently look into being better prepared for the bugs

No problem. 1 suggestion, do not buy the ryno skin thru Dicks. Took a month to get the shirt & then another month to get the pants. Buy direct.
