Three Sites Yield Silver

Today I returned to the same park I worked yesterday. This time I picked up four silver coins - three Roosevelt dimes and one 1944 mercury dime. After a while I headed to another site where I dug up a few old wheat cents and one 1923 mercury dime before moving on to a third site, a small park that had yielded a few old coins on a recent hunt. From there I managed another two mercury dimes, dated 1925 and 1936, as well as several old wheat cents.

These more than make up for yesterday's lack of silver coins.

There are several old wheat cents in the pile. The item with the image of the Statue of Liberty may have been part of a pin.

HH!

Well, there goes the ground I gained on you yesterday in the silver count... Great digs Angel!

Wow , silver from 3 different parks in one day . Hmmm...... that calls for a new find designation
Triparka .Had one of those dimes been of another silver variety you would have had a Triparka Trifecta . Something tells me you may have already achieved one previously . Great hunting Angel . :thumbsup01:

It would be fun just to be a spectator and watch you pull all these silver coins from hard hunted parks. What these parks held at the dawn of MDing is just staggering to dream about. Congrats on keeping the silver streak alive.

Well that's more like it l:lol: I knew you had it in you ;) Nice round of silver and tons of wheats. What is the Statue of Liberty cent looking thing? Great hunt. :thumbsup01:

Thanks everyone!

The item picturing the Statue of Liberty is a Liberty Boy Salesman pin, issued by Liberty Magazine in the 20's or 30's....I think. The back clasp is broken off.

No, he never does not find silver

Great finds! I too love that pin... too bad it didn't hold up better.
