Trashed nickel

Here's a nickel I had in a can of junk coins. I know sometimes they can be faked, so I figured this is one of them, so I just threw it in the can lol. But some coins from the mint actually do get hit like this. I forgot to take a picture of the obverse which almost looks like it was flattened out a bit. Anyways a cool looking coin to get in change.

Yep, That is what would have happened if it ends up being real.

I have to take a real good look at the 2nd image and see if it is the same or a reverse image. If it's the same image, then the die hit it again after it didn't eject properly. &quot:beerbuddy:rockage I think it is called If it's reversed, then someone put a nickle on top of it and hit it with a press or a really big sledge hammer lol Either way it's a good conversation piece.

Looks like one monument is indented. Which would mean that another nickle was pressed onto that one. It could happen at the mint. But that would be hard to miss!

Yeah, it's probably just a wanna be error lol But it looks cool. I agree, it would be hard for that scenario to happen at the mint.
