Trime !!!!!!!

Well, the seal pin is more unique even if not a pistareen. I really wanna find some old Spanish silver even tho they aren't worth a whole lot. The barber half I found is worth more. I'd just like the oldness of the find and knowing I dug one. The seal item, I doubt now you will find one sterling in a gift shop nowadays. So that notion would deem it older.

That's 'cuz it's a petal bell. It looks a lot like mine, except mine was a little smaller than a tennis ball. Mine had the makers Initials on the bottom where the flower's cone design is.

Were you able to learn anything from the maker's mark? Who made it and when?

Yup. Mine had "N S" on it. In one of my older threads I think there is a link to the makers but there is a site that gives information on those bells. Mine I was able to tell was made in New Britain CT somewhere between 1832 and 1850 by Seth and James North.
