Well not really 10k >{ . When I dug it up at a local school it looked great in the plug ! It turned out to be marked 10K GOLD FILLED :hairpulling: . It looks just like a class ring , very cool ! I believe it's from the late 1960's or early 70's . It's the first Scouting ring of any type that I have found in 16 + years |:cheering: . The other ring I thought was silver , but it's just plated . They are numbers 79 & 80 for the year . The other good find was a 195:clapping: wheat cent . The total clad found for two hours was $9.94 . thumbsup01

Great looking ring. I would have thought it was a class ring too. Those tokens would have scared me coming out of the ground. Big looking round discs always get my attention lol Congrats on reaching #80. :clapping:

Bummer on the ring, it sure looks like the real thing in the dirt Glen. I know it would've had my pulse going.

Very nice GS ring. With as many rings as you recover, I'm shocked that this is your 1st GS. :congrats: on reaching #80 already.

Hey, don't dis that GS ring. It's a collectible and can fetch upwards of $50 on Ebay. Not bad for #80.
