Only had time to hunt late Saturday and early Sunday morning today but the hunts were quite productive. Saturday someone was shining down on me because the place I hunted I've hit pretty hard before but I was hitting some squeakers where most turned into to silver including a quarter/dime spill. On the night I found 5 silver with a Washington, a Merc, 2 Rosies and another war nickel. Today I went out to where I found the 2 Cent piece and picked up another Merc a Canadian silver dime, 1905 "V" nickel and (I still don't believe it) an 1817 Matron Head Large Cent in pretty decent shape. This is the oldest coin I have ever found. definitely a fun couple of hunts. Keep swinging Wisconsin Digger.

Holy cow, what are the odds?! Nice group of silver, but that largie is the find on the day. Your little area has some very early history including military roads through the region as i found out researching Kohlsville when a friend moved there. Congrats!

:wow: Great job on the Matron Head. 200 years old! :wow:
Most of us are slowing down due to the weather. You're kicking it into high gear :congrats:

Love seeing you guys find those very elusive "mid-west" coppers !! well done :notworthy:
