Weekend Hunts

Got out with RobW on Saturday. We hit a small town north of us which proved very lucrative for one of us, which translates to not me. Rob had a fantastic day while I managed 3 wheats, a nice silver ring and a religious pendent and a Birds Custard truck and another little vehicle. Wait for Rob's post to see how great of a day he had...........

Sunday Tim (massdirtfisher) met me at my house and we went to an area that we had scoured before. Tim said he wll post his find so I can't let the cat out of the bag. I managed 2 more wheats.

The wheats ended up being 1917, 1919, 1955, 1956, 1956d

The season is not over and after checking my log book the last time I recovered any silver was Sept 22, talk about a slump. Oh well, take the good with the bad.

Thanks for reading and keep digging

Isn't that ring or pendant silver? Not all silver is round and flat!

Anyhow, nice digs aloldstuff. Keep on digging yourself! It's out there waiting for you to save it from being buried alive. rofl

I hear ya on the silver coin slump! Gotta be at the right place at the right time. Hang in there! Great to get out though and rescue some wheats! |:cheering:

A couple of those wheats are pretty old, and silver can come in bunches. Hang in there, it'll be coming soon.
