8/ Okay! After reading Tony's post for his weekend finds. I didn't want to bother posting mine. lol But here goes anyways. Saturday, I Hunted The football field again. Trying to finish up the area that has been covered with plastic mesh all winter. Managed to sqweek out 1 1941 Merc <: 2nd Silver for the year. Along with more clad. And a Junk ring. Sunday. I changed locations to an area behind an old school. Old enough to hide some silver. Finding a Rosie once. Keeping me interested. Well this has to be the quietest ground I've ever heard. At one point. I got a screemin signal at about 5 inches. Dug the plug. Down in the hole. I see the edge of a large coin. :shocked04: I thought for a second. I finally found one. Took a pic of the coin in the hole. Before I even touched it. Well to my dismay >:\ It had a picture of a dinasaur on it. Well I got a thrill for a few seconds anyway. Totaled $8.59 in clad, nickles, and cents. But Had a great time :detecting: anyways! Thanks for lookin! :waving:

Nice silver!

I had a similar experience with a deep Lucky Charms token once. It was aluminum and shiny, but it was deep and for a second my heart just about stopped... maybe next time anyway!

Sorry to hear about your heartstopper. Someday that big elusive coin will be in the hole for you . :congrats: on your silvers

Oh man that is cruel! I would hate dinosaurs after that =D I also had a similar experience with a Gibson Freezer token... good to get the blood pumping at least rofl

Congrats on your silver, at least you found some. But as they say, any day diggin is better than work or staying indoors. Yeah those dino coins have almost made me have a heart attack too. Congrats on your finds.

Being outdoors and getting some excercise is a reward in itself, and a nice Mercury Dime is just icing on the cake! |:cheering:

Very decent clad count too!

:congrats:
