What could This be

its about 1 1/2 inches long dug it by an old tree not far from a ring I found any clue??

from the patina it looks to be made or brass or copper , is it cylinder shaped too ??

No it isn't open on either end doesn't really look like it opens either but I don't know

At first I thought maybe an old blasting cap :shocked04: but it seems too short. I haven't seen one since I was a kid in the 60's but it looked similar as I recall.
