I'll post this over here since most of what we found today was the same farm type relics. Couple of new items today, a very old segment of barbed wire, a square nail mostly rusted away, as I was told to expect, and a what the heck is this. Still eager to find something jewelryish, but I do enjoy finding these old items, like the nails and all of the old wire we've found, we can only guess what its uses were.
We find a lot of wire, some obviously very old, some not so much. Second square nail, an old rusty one, and a very old round nail. Oh.....and 40 cents in clad. This all came from about a half a soccer field.
