hunting in Illinois

Looking for anyone interesting in metal detecting in Illinois. I live in the Chicagoland area and am willing to drive anywhere in a 100 mile radius. Im new to the hobby so lets have some fun!

Hey Rodbuster, hunting since the early 70's? Me too lol Surprized we have any elbows and knees left :yes: Nice to have you here.
 
Hey Rodbuster that would be great. Im always up for some detecting on the weekends. What type of machine do you use. I use the V-3 but I am very much a newbie and still dont understand my machine that well, although im getting better with it. Looking forward to meeting you soon!
 
Anytime you guys want to get together let me know.
Each time we go out, we could try someone's local spot.
Since we are not down the road from each other
we could try a area were we haven't been before.
Think about it, spring will be here before you know. :thinkingabout:
