I found a marshall's badge from the late 1800's one time. I found a Seated Liberty Quarter from 1854 that I really liked, and a few rather respectable gold nuggets. By the way I wanted my user name to be "Mind over Metal" and not "Mind over Matal" . Is there a way someone can fix this? I use an MXT All Pro with a 10" Double D coil.

I'll see about changing your name. Wow, seated quarters are scarce! You are in gold country, do you get the cash for the nuggets or do you keep them?

Welcome from a fellow Californian!Where in NorCal are you? I mostly hit beaches around Santa Cruz.
I generally hunt areas around Redding and Weaverville.

Used to have family up that way, Hayfork, Douglas City. I am retired from PG&E and they have many facilities in NorCal for camping.
