Hello all. I am new here on this forum. I have been detecting for quite some time. I live in Northern California. A really pretty place full of cool places to hunt.

I found a marshall's badge from the late 1800's one time. I found a Seated Liberty Quarter from 1854 that I really liked, and a few rather respectable gold nuggets. By the way I wanted my user name to be "Mind over Metal" and not "Mind over Matal" . Is there a way someone can fix this? I use an MXT All Pro with a 10" Double D coil.

I'll see about changing your name. Wow, seated quarters are scarce! You are in gold country, do you get the cash for the nuggets or do you keep them?

Used to have family up that way, Hayfork, Douglas City. I am retired from PG&E and they have many facilities in NorCal for camping.
