Wow cool old post cards. thumbsup01 I have seen lots of these in the state of Louisiana. Next time I take a trip along the Mississippi River I will take my camera and post some pic's. I made a trip not long ago and noticed a lot of places to stop and ask permission but was working at the time next trip will be on my dime lol. lol lol

Nice old pictures Steve thumbsup01 A lot of the Oregon pic's still look the same now as they did in the pictures

Great resource Steve.

Every year our local newspaper produces a book called 'Wish you were here.' that is made up of post cards from yesteryear. All are old images of my hometown submitted by the public.

Pretty much a metal detectorists dream book... they are very helpful.

I encourage you all to see if one is produced in your town. You'll be very happy if you find one.

Fantastic post.

We have a town book that i have , goes way back, the union park photos on the postcad site , ive been there a few times , in ruins but it is kept in good shape , never found anything , it has been hunted for almost 40 years,
