After yesterday's hunt I couldn't wait to hit the same site again, so this afternoon I drove up there and finished the section I had been working. From there I picked up a few wheat cents and a silver Roosevelt dime. After working that area for a while I wandered off to another section, and from there I dug up a few more wheat cents, a mercury dime, three Indian Head cents, a 1865 2-Cent piece, and a King George II copper. Not as great a hunt as my previous one, but just as fun.

The silver and Indian Head cents.

Here are the Indian Head cents after cleaning them up.

The 2-Cent piece cleaned up well, though it still has a green crusted area on the obverse.

The King George II copper. It's in poor shape. Wondering, I took a closer look at yesterday's CT Copper, and it turns out that I misidentified the coin (not the first time I do such when rushing). :embarrassed: So the one from yesterday is also another King George copper.

I also dug up three old buttons.

I cleaned the 2-Center by bathing it in hot peroxide, followed by several applications of coin conditioner. And you have me confused with some other master guy. lol I'm just an experienced detectorist having fun playing in the dirt. :happydance01:
