1916 Buffalo nickel!

Found a nice 1916 Buffalo nickel yesterday, my second one of the same date this year. It rang a solid 19 on the V3i at only about 2 inches in depth. I also found a 45 caliber bullet (new) a corroded pocket watch, an old derringer type cap pistol, a 1920 Wheatie @ about 5 inches, and about $1.77 in clad (mostly dimes). This site has a lot of potential but it is in a rougher area. I have to really be aware of my surroundings when I dig there. HH!

Congrats on the nickel!

Sometimes the parks in the rougher areas really produce. Just be careful though. :)

Wow, that's an early Buff. Congrats.

I have a spot similar like that. I've gone there with Dave.... it's good to have a partner for those kinds of areas. An extra set of eyes makes a big difference.

Keep that cap gun in your pocket...you may need it lol Life isn't fair, all the good coins are in rough neighborhoods  Congrats on some good finds and making it out of there in one piece thumbsup01 Hope that 1916 is a double date one.
